New navigation vs. old navigation

You will notice that the navigation of your dashboard looks different and has a new structure. In this support article we will explain why we have changed the old navigation, show the changes and compare them with the new navigation.

Why did we change the old navigation?

We want to make it as easy as possible for you when you are in the dashboard. Our main goal was to make the dashboard even more intuitive and self-explanatory. This was not possible with the old navigation. Therefore, we decided to completely redesign the navigation and make it even clearer.

NEW NAVIGATION

The new navigation is characterised by four large main sections:

MY APP

CONNECT

PROMOTE

PUBLISH

UPPER PART OF THE NAVIGATION

The name of your app now appears in the upper part of the navigation. In addition, you can make changes to your app or PWA at any time by clicking the Take Live button. On the right side you will find our Help & Knowledge area (Help Desk) as well as the language settings for the dashboard and your personal account settings plus logout.

MY APP

In this section you can find your app, add modules to it, define the design and layout and make general settings as well as settings relevant to features, e.g. for the profiles or the chat.

CONNECT

In CONNECT you can set up push notifications and campaigns. Furthermore, you will find the user list (CRM) and the activities that your app users carry out in the app, e.g. submitting a form.

PROMOTE

The PROMOTE section offers you everything you need to promote your app across multiple channels (online and offline). You can create a QR code for the whole app or single modules (tell a friend), integrate the Smart Widget and create print material for your app.

PUBLISH

In this section you can find the latest publishing status of your app or PWA: Is the live version of the PWA up to date? Here you can also submit your app to the app stores. Our system will tell you if the submission is working or if you need to make further settings. You can also resubmit apps here, e.g. after changing the app icon. You can make changes at any time for both the native app and the PWA. In this section you will also find the settings for the website and can define an SEO text for your PWA.

OLD NAVIGATION

Status

Edit

Manage

Settings

UPPER PART OF THE OLD NAVIGATION

My apps, my account, your app package, the language settings of the dashboard, our help & knowledge area (help desk) and logout were stored in this area.

Status

Here you could check the status of your app or PWA. Visitor and user numbers, which operating system was used to call up your app, activities carried out and push notification subscribers were displayed.

Edit

Under Edit you could define the design and layout of your app, add app modules and update your app/PWA at any time with Publish. This is also where you submitted your app to the App Stores or activated the smart widget for your app.

Manage

Under Manage you could find the user list, campaigns, activities, promo possibilities via push notifications and QR Code etc. as well as settings for your app or app package.

We hope you like our new navigation, so that you have even more fun creating your app. :)
